Conservation Resources (CRI) is a non-profit organization
providing financial and technical services to the conservation
community in New Jersey. Since 2003, we have provided over $53 million in financial assistance to more than 50 conservation organizations.

Conservation Resources works as a conservation intermediary by featuring and marketing New Jersey's exemplary land
conservation and stewardship projects in The Conservation Exchange ©.
These Featured Projects provide a means for philanthropic individuals, foundations,
and corporations to efficiently spend charitable capital
on conservation projects.
CRI pre-screens
Featured Projects and provides project oversight and technical
assistance to the sponsoring conservation
organizations.
Many of the Featured Projects
also meet the strict criteria for regulatory contributions from penalty
settlements, natural resource damage (NRD) claims, or supplemental environmental projects.

CRI
has developed standard agreements with responsible parties
and regulators to enable us to provide essential project oversight
for all featured land conservation, stewardship, and restoration
projects. In addition to penalty and NRD claims, CRI works
with regulators and corporations to facilitate supplemental
environmental projects and other innovative means for financing
conservation such as carbon sequestration projects.
CRI also provides consulting services to government
agencies involved in conservation and land use matters
as well as to landowners who
are interested in land conservation. |
